Experience the Taubman Museum of Art after hours with an evening dedicated to the art of architecture!

From the striking angles of the Museum’s own award-winning building to the imaginative worlds you can create yourself, this Late Night invites visitors of all ages to see architecture as both art and experience.

Architectural Highlights Behind-the-Scenes Tour

Take part in a special Architectural Highlights Behind-the-Scenes Tour, offering a rare look at the design and construction of the Taubman Museum of Art that few have ever experienced. Discover how the building’s dramatic glass atrium, “Vault” for art storage, and innovative engineering came to life, and gain a deeper appreciation of contemporary architecture here in Roanoke. You can also participate in hands-on activities inspired by architecture and design including contributing to a collaborative Taubman Museum of Art diorama or even building your own architectural masterpiece from Keva planks or Legos!

Late Night Lounge for Young Professionals

Grab a drink and network in the Museum’s Late Night Lounge for Young Professionals, a relaxed, private space designed for young professionals (ages 21–40ish).

You’ll make new connections with like-minded art lovers and those who care about seeing Roanoke grow and thrive.

Museum Members get one free drink ticket for the Lounge.

Galleries are open to 9 pm to enjoy the evening and hands-on experiences.
