A framed drawing featuring a folk-art inspired brick pathway, fence, and trees

Welcome to START, a series designed for artists ages 10 and up!

Whether you’re a total beginner or looking for an artistic refresher, this class is for you.

Each month, we will explore a new topic to help you build a strong foundation and expand your knowledge and skills in the arts.

The focus this month will be on perspectives, where you’ll unlock the secret to creating depth and dimension in your art.

We will cover the essential concepts of overlapping, foreground, middle ground, background, and the rules of one-point perspective.

You will then draw your own folk-art inspired miniature landscape in a step-by-step guided demonstration with our instructor.

The finished drawing will measure approximately 4×6 inches. Please note, the frame is for display purposes only.

Registration is required.

Members: $16 | General Public: $20
