Join artist Cynthia Wick in this interactive workshop as you learn more about her artistic process and create your own work of art using painting and collage techniques.

Cynthia Wick is a painter who lives and works in the Berkshire hills of Massachusetts. A native Californian, she brought the luminous California light with her when she moved east. Her paintings are intensely colored abstractions. Wick works in acrylic and painted paper collage in an intuitive way. Her work is painted from memory and years of observation of nature.

She has exhibited in New York City, Los Angeles, and the Berkshires. Her 2023 summer show FLORABOREALIS at The Leonhardt Galleries/Berkshire Botanical Garden featured joyous, incandescent paintings that emerged out of the dark covid years when the artist took refuge in her studio on the edge of the woods, going inward for inspiration and exploring her memories of color, light, and beauty.

Her paintings have been featured in three films and her drawings in The New York Times Op-Ed page.

Wick recently collaborated with Annie Selke on textile designs based on her paintings.
