Learn more about this stunning artwork from Southwest Virginia Ballet Artistic Director Pedro Szalay and Co-Curator Amethyst Rey Beaver. At the end of the video, Pedro performs a traditional Venezuelan dance called the "zapateo," accompanied by traditional music called "joropo."
