The Color Wheel: Secondary & Complementary Colors |
Thursday, May 28, 2020 |
6:00pm - 6:05pm
Time for the next step in #colortheory! After primary colors, there are the colors you get when you mix one primary with another primary: secondary colors! Red and yellow make orange; red and blue make purple; blue and yellow make green. These colors create "complementary colors," or hues that are exactly the opposite from each other on the wheel: orange and blue; red and green; purple and yellow. You may have noticed that these colors go well together! It's a good guide when you're trying to figure out what hues might be buddies when you're working on a drawing or even an outfit-- always a good idea to go with complementary colors! #TMAmuseumschool #museumfromhome #homeschool #homeschooling #homeschoolartlessons
