Join us every first and third Thursday of the month for Happy HeARTs Hour! These sessions are designed for children of all abilities from 1-5 years old with specific adaptations for those who identify as:

  • Blind or have low vision
  • Deaf or hard of hearing
  • Neurodiverse (Autism Spectrum, Sensory Processing, Learning Disabilities)
  • Living with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

In each session, participants will focus on a particular work of art in the galleries and take part in an art activity that is accessible and sensory-friendly. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the Museum’s interactive gallery, Art Venture. Happy HeARTs offers a safe space for families with children of all abilities, whether it is a quiet space to avoid or unwind from sensory overload, or a space to fully express your engagement and creativity. Registration requested, drop-ins welcome.

This program is made possible through generous funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
