Contemporary Redux |
Wednesday, January 27, 2016 - Sunday, September 04, 2016 |
Selected from the museum’s permanent collection, this exhibition highlights visitor favorites and new acquisitions from the vault to present a comprehensive sampling of contemporary art. From Petah Coyne’s mixed media sculpture comprised of wax and ribbons to the beautiful, haunting photograph by Australian artist Rosemary Laing of a literally carpeted forest floor, Contemporary Redux will feature several seminal new gifts acquired over the past four years by artists making work today. Contemporary Redux is curated by Amy G. Moorefield, Deputy Director of Exhibitions and Collections and will be on display in the Contemporary Gallery from January 27 - September 4, 2016. |
