Conversation with the Curator: Focus on Pierre Daura

It's a Throwback Thursday, and we're pleased to share this virtual Conversastion with the Curator focusing on the exhibition, From Spain to Virginia: The Art and Times of Pierre Daura.

This brief, 30-minute virtual conversation was led by the Museum's Chief Curator Dr. Karl Willers with guests from the Georgia Museum of Art at the University of Georgia including the Museum's Director, Dr. William Eiland, Dr. Nelda Damiano, Pierre Daura Curator of European Art, and Julia Kilgore, Pierre Daura Curatorial Research Assistant.

This recording includes a virtual tour of the Taubman Museum of Art's installation of the exhibition, which was on view October 30, 2020-March 13, 2021. During the tour, Dr. Damiano and Dr. Eiland will share insider information about Pierre Daura both as an artist and as a devoted family man.
