Wet Watercolor: Abstract Landscapes

Saturday, April 11, 2020

6:00pm - 6:05pm

Ready for a completely mesmerizing painting prompt? This is all about the wet watercolor technique and in the end, you'll have a cool abstract landscape!

First, add in the sky. Be sure to have lots of streaks and sections that are separated by dry paper. Think of a meandering stream or lazy river and paint that in plain water. Next, you will load up your brush and add in streaks of paint, allowing it to move through the water. Then, move on to the land. Repeat the above process, but this time don't let your land and sky connect until the very end to keep your colors from blending too much.

Make sure to share your creations on social media and use the hashtags #TMAmuseumschool #museumsfromhome so we can see!
