As the weather gets warmer, we're seriously craving some juicy watermelon. Try out this DIY watermelon purse to satisfy your artsy sweet tooth! Step 1: Fold a paper plate in half, then cut in half on the fold line. Step 2: Sketch out a rind around the curve, and a bite mark on the straight side of your plate. Step 3: Cut out the bite mark. Step 4: Decorate! You can use any materials you have at home. Don't forget to add seeds! Step 5: Place the decorate slice on top of the blank slice, and mark where the bite overlaps. Color this section black. Step 6: Use a stapler or tape to attach the two plates together all the way around the curve. If desired, you may punch holes into either side, and attach a handle! In this demonstration we put two pieces of masking tape together for a cord. Don't forget to share on social media and tag us in your creations! |
