Roanoke Children's Theatre Hands-On Station

Saturday, March 07, 2020

10:00am - 5:00pm

Free and Open to All

Learn about costumes, props, and other cool elements that go into creating a children's play, then try out your acting skills on a mini-stage!

Roanoke Children's Theatre, the only professional children's theatre in our region, will offer an interactive learning station in Art Venture, the Taubman's hands-on creativity center for kids and families, featuring the Cox Communications Stage.

Roanoke Children's Theatre is dedicated to providing high-quality theatre education and entertainment to families, schools, and children with year-round programming. It crafts new and exciting partnerships and programs that engage our youth in a world of communication, imagination, creativity, empowerment, and learning.

The Theatre is an independently owned and operated 501c3 organization located in The Jefferson Center in downtown Roanoke.

To learn more about Roanoke Children's Theatre, visit their web site at http://roanokechildrenstheatre.org.

This pop-up is free and open to the public as part of Roanoke Arts POP!, a winter celebration of arts and culture in Virginia's Blue Ridge.

Nearly two dozen organizations from the region will gather at the Taubman Museum of Art March 6-8 to share what makes them - and southwest Virginia - so culturally vibrant and fun. Don't miss out!

Roanoke Arts POP! is generously supported by the Roanoke Cultural Endowment and Visit Virginia's Blue Ridge.
