Homeward Bound: Juried Triennial

Friday, May 01, 2020 - Sunday, September 20, 2020

The Taubman Museum of Art is pleased to announce its second juried triennial, Homeward Bound, a major exhibition presenting recent work in all media by artists currently residing in Virginia.

Juried by Nandini Makrandi, chief curator of the Hunter Museum of American Art in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Homeward Bound showcases Virginia's finest homegrown talent.

The museum invites Virginia resident artists ages 18 or older to apply for consideration.

First presented in spring 2017, the inaugural Homeward Bound shared the work of more than 55 selected artists. The first-prize winner was Richmond-based artist Genesis Chapman, who was awarded a solo exhibition at the Taubman from March to August 2018.
