Southwest Virginia Ballet & The Classic Strings Duo Performance

Join us for a delightful afternoon of classical music and dance! Southwest Virginia Ballet is teaming up with Blacksburg's Classic Strings Duo in a harmonious performance for all ages. Dancers will be performing to selections from Bartok's 44 Duos for Two Violins, choreographed by Artistic Director, Pedro Szalay. You don't want to miss this one time performance by two of our areas most talented groups!

The performance is free and open to the public.

Featuring a special appearance by Caroline Weinroth, Miss Roanoke Valley 2019, is a musician, writer, and arts advocate. She is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing, with a concentration in Poetry, at George Mason University. Caroline is the lead singer, guitarist, and songwriter for the rock band Cinema Hearts. Her original work has been published on NPR, Washington City Paper, Brightest Young Things, and Public Pool. As Miss Roanoke Valley, Caroline‚Äôs community service platform is Music Empowerment, which is a movement to create civic change through music education and performance.
