Meet the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow!

Saturday, January 19, 2019

12:00pm - 4:30pm

Join us on Saturday January 19th for special programming provided by the automotive students of Burton Center for Arts and Technology. In support for our special exhibition DRIVE! Iconic American Cars and Motorcycles, the students will be in the atrium, disassembling and reassembling an engine while you watch!

This incredible feat will be performed in just 20 minutes, beginning every hour on the hour from 12pm-4pm. You don’t want to miss this exciting day at the Museum, and one of the last weekends to visit DRIVE!

Every year the ASE accredited Automotive Technology class from the Burton Center competes in the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine Challenge. This year's team members, Mackinzie Powell, Alex Hernandez, Jacob Roragen, Cameron Smith, and Kaylee Eldred competed at the SEMA show in Las Vegas against other highly ranked high school teams from across the nation.
