Visit the Taubman Museum of Art on the first Thursday of every month for Art at Night. During this program you can enjoy, and in some cases interact, with a live performance; go on docent led tours; participate in a museum scavenger hunt and win a prize. Festivities begin at 5:00 PM and continue until the museum closes at 8 PM. The Art at Night program and museum admission is free on Thursday evenings so join the fun!

• Thursday, August 5, 5 - 8 p.m.: Join us for a fun-filled evening at the Taubman Museum. This evening from 5:30-6:00 PM there will be a performance from the local jazz group the Michael Randolph Trio. You can also participate in the Art by Night crossword challenge. Docent led tours are also available.

The 2010 Women's Luncheon will be held on November 22. The Ann Fralin Award will be presented to sculptor Betty Branch, who also will serve as the luncheon speaker. Over a thirty-year period, Branch has focused on the female form and has defined female rites of passage in both traditional and unorthodox media-bronze, stone, fiber, ceramic, terra cotta, earthenware, and straw. Her award winning work has been exhibited internationally, is in many private, corporate, university, and museum collections, and has been feature in national and international publications.
