Art Connections
Available for elementary, middle, and high school students includes: gallery visit, an SOL based cross curricular lesson, art making activity based on our current exhibits, and exploration time in Art Venture, our interactive gallery.
Duration: 90 minutes
Cost: $5 per Student, Teachers and Chaperones are free (one per 10 children is required)
Reservations are required.
Art Quest
Available for elementary, middle, and high school students includes: gallery visit, gallery scavenger hunts when appropriate, and if time permits a visit to Art Venture, our interactive gallery.
Duration: 60 minutes
Cost: $5 per Student, Teachers and Chaperones are free (one per 10 children is required)
Reservations are required.
Art Venture Group Time
Available for groups of 10 or more wishing to spend time in Art Venture, our interactive gallery, as part of a daycare field trip, community summer camps, spring or winter break program, or birthday group.
Duration: 60 minutes
Cost: $5 per Child, Chaperones are free (one per 10 children is required)
Reservations are required.

All Roanoke City Public Schools are free of charge.
Roanoke County Public Schools K-1st Grade school tours are free of charge.

Tours must be requested in advance by contacting Hillary Hardison, School and Outreach Manager, at 540-204-4110 or hhardison[at]taubmanmuseum[dot]org.
Please call to arrange group tours or school tours.
Group Size: Minimum - 10 Students, Maximum - 100 Students
Guidelines
- Please check testing dates, holidays, and bus availability before requesting dates for a tour.
- Tour requests must be made three weeks in advance.*
- You will receive written confirmation when your museum visit has been scheduled. Please review your confirmation as soon as it arrives.
*Note: Should you need to cancel your trip, please notify the museum at least 48 hours before your program; the museum will retain a $30.00 fee for tours cancelled after this time.
