Make a meaningful connection.

The Taubman Museum of Art is seeking students who are passionate about the arts and curious about museum work. Our internship program is a hands-on learning experience and provides students with a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at a museum.

Interns will work closely with a museum professional on a project connected to the museum’s collections, exhibitions, or operations. Interns will be placed on the basis of their experience and academic training, and departmental need and availability.

Each internship will begin with an overview of museum operations and will serve as an introduction to projects in different museum departments. Hours and length of internships vary depending on projects and areas. The position is unpaid, with the option of receiving credit through the intern's academic institution. Knowledge of art and art history is preferred but not required.
