Dive Into 3D Design
Dive Into 3D Design
Discover the world of three-dimensional art in this workshop focused on the 3D printer. Artists that work with 3D techniques create an avenue for their audiences to experience art by walking around it, through it, under it, and over it. Students will try their hand at 3D sketching and work with the 3D printer to design and print out unique creations. With the guidance of the Virginia Tech DREAMS lab, students will also explore how 3D printing is used in architecture, art, and engineering.
Note: Each participant will be able to print out one of their designs and pick it up the following week.
