Gain Experience at the Taubman

Learn how a museum really works, create valuable art world connections, and gain professional mentors with a Taubman Museum of Art paid summer college internship, graduate/post-graduate fellowship, or student volunteer position.

How It Works

Internships, fellowships, and student volunteer opportunities begin with an overview of Museum operations, then dive into hands-on, cross-departmental projects connected to collections, exhibitions, and programming. Summer internships and fellowships are paid, and may be eligible for earning credit through your academic institution.

How to Apply

Internship applicants must submit a letter of interest, resume, and a writing sample. Fellowship applicants must submit a letter of interest, resume, writing sample, and two letters of recommendation. Please send all materials to Katrina King-Singh at kking@taubmanmuseum.org.
