The Taubman Museum of Art invites you to join us for Great Trains & Grand Canyons, featuring five nights in the upscale resort town and artist community of Sedona, Arizona.
Guests will enjoy a guided trolley tour around the sights of Sedona including the Chapel of the Holy Cross as well as a visit to Uptown Sedona to explore the great shopping, art galleries and various restaurants the city has to offer.
On Day 3, guests will travel along the Oak Creek Canyon on their way to board the Grand Canyon Railway for an unforgettable two-hour train trip to the iconic South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park.
On Day 4, enjoy another day trip to visit Montezuma Castle National Monument as well as an old restored mining town, then board the Verde Canyon Railroad for a four-hour ride in a First Class Railcar with breath-taking views of national forests, crimson cliffs and old fashioned trestles.
The trip will depart from Roanoke/Blacksburg Regional Airport on October 15, 2017.
A deposit of $300/person is due by April 15. The rate for the 6-day trip is $2,599/person and includes round trip airfare, 5 nights resort accommodations in Sedona, local transportation including the two train rides, sight-seeing, and several meals. There is an early bird booking discount of $200/couple if paid by check.
